It’s strange, but even when I was a professional footballer I dreamed of one day becoming a sports journalist. Although I hung my boots up earlier than planned, I couldn’t be happier with the way things have turned out. Having experienced every level of English football as a player, I’m now a writer and broadcaster, covering the sports I enjoy most. It’s the second best job in the world – behind playing, of course.
